Ashtavakra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences and Research is an ISO 9001:2008 certified ’A’ rated institute approved by Rehabilitation Council of India, a statutory body under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, located at the hub of institutional area of North Delhi in a barrier free environment with metro connectivity, working in the field of disability for the welfare of Person with Disabilities.

Ashtavakra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences and Research is the first self-financed institute throughout the North India, to run Bachelors in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP Programme). The Institute is running diploma (D.Ed Special Education) and degree level (B.Ed Special Education-Mental Retardation and Hearing Impairment) courses in special education along with practical exposure to students.

How to apply?

After getting the information regarding the courses and fulfilling the eligibility criteria, the student can apply for any number of courses by paying required registration amount for reserving the seat (which will be adjusted with their Tuition Fee).

What are my fee payment options?

Payment can be made in the form of Online/Cash/Draft. Cheques are not accepted. Fee is paid semester-wise. Fee for every semester is to be paid before the commencement of that semester.

What document must I submit with my application?

Matriculation Certificate (Photocopy & Original –Returnable).
10+2 Certificate/Diploma/ITI (Photocopy & Original –Returnable)
Graduation Certificate (PG Courses) Final DMC (Photocopy & Original – Returnable)
Character Certificate (From Institution last Attended)
Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable) (Photocopy & Ogiginal-Returnable)
CMAT/JET Result Card /Counseling Allotment Letter

Rules and Regulations?

75% attendance is mandatory.
In case of cancellation of admission, Readmission will be done as per PTU norms.
Institute reserves the right to amend, alter or modify rules and regulations as and when required which will be binding on the students.
